This December, Pack and Troop 367 participated in a conservation project to clean and recycle items at the Urban Farm. With the guidance and support of the EBC church members and leaders as well as parent volunteers. Scouts spent several hours removing trash and recyclable material to prepare the grounds for the Urban Farm. The Scouts’ contribution is one of many projects to come.

This is a new program launched in late 2022 to assist with providing healthy food options to the Southwest Atlanta community.

The Urban Farm is sponsored by Elizabeth Baptist Church and EBC Cares ministry. More information about it can be found here: https://www.elizabethbaptist.org/ebc-cares/urban-farm

The Boy Scouts of Pack and Troop 367 provide support to the building of the Urban Farm program through volunteerism. Scouts keep the property clean and assist with the farm development. In the future Scouts plan to host a plethora of conservation and recycling projects that will enhance and aid in the expansion of the Urban Farm.
