On Jan 14th, boy scouts and webelos from unit 367 set out on an adventure to conquer Stone Mountain.

We were all bundled up in warm layers, but the biting wind still managed to find its way through. Despite the cold, we enjoyed the challenge and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

As we approached the top, the wind grew even stronger, making the final push a real challenge. But our scouts were up for it, and one by one, they reached the summit.

After a well-deserved break, we took a group photo and began our descent.

The 2 1/2 mile hike may have been cold and windy, but it was also an unforgettable experience. It was a reminder that nature can be harsh, but also offers a great opportunity to test oneself and come out stronger.

We would like to extend a special thank you to the parents (and grandparents!) who joined us on this hike. Their presence and support made all the difference, and we’re grateful for their example. We’re looking forward to our next adventure together!
